the fabulous Cookie Mayhew,
said, " Every year, do
something
they can fire you for." So I taught
The Catcher in the
Rye, which was
banned at that time. It's been easy
advice to follow. If you teach with
real passion,
and teach from a deep
caring for
students and the world
they
live in, the administration will
ALWAYS want
to fire you.
